The FX DRS Classic is a high-end pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle designed by FX Airguns. It is specifically built to look, feel, and balance like a traditional centerfire hunting rifle rather than a futuristic airgun.
Key Design Innovations
- Over-the-Barrel Air Tank: Instead of utilizing a bulky under-barrel carbon fiber bottle, the aluminum air cylinder completely surrounds the barrel shroud. This preserves a traditional firearm silhouette and acts as a stabilizing wrapper for the barrel liner.
- Disguised Power Plenum: The plenum (the secondary air chamber used for shot-to-shot consistency) is cleverly shaped and positioned to look exactly like a traditional firearm's box magazine.
- Hidden Regulator: It features an adjustable AMP MKII regulator tucked inside the stock to maintain a sleek, clean exterior profile.
